In the heart of Melton, Victoria, about an hour from Melbourne, is the Visitor Information Centre. The Centre has recently gone through a facelift as part of a larger redevelopment project of Melton Town Centre. With the addition of some modern artworks, the Centre is reinvigorated, a beautiful marriage of old and new, and overall the project has created "spaces that enable both passive and organised uses". Highlighting the Centre surrounds are the Nightspot by Meyer. By pole mounting multiple spots, the grounds can be completely illuminated from all angles providing uniform light and reducing dark spots, ensuring the Visitor Centre is as welcoming by night as it is by day.
